How It Works

line

The pre-fabrication process of concrete is done with the help of our end product which is a membrane. The unique, desired image is printed on the membrane with a surface retarder. Post the printing process, the membrane is sent to the local concrete prefabrication company. The final process involves casting of concrete on the membrane and washing away the retarder. Once this is done, the final image is revealed. The exposed aggregate and fair face together forms the Graphic Concrete.

Changing the aggregate and/or cement colour offers a vast amount of variations in the outcome.

Designs

Meeting the challenges of modern architecture, Graphic Concrete can be textured with smooth or rough patterns on any area where concreting has been done.

There are over 100 readymade bespoke and standard designs available. You can also collaborate with an artist, designer or illustrator to create an entirely unique design. Graphic Concrete co-operates with concrete prefabrication team and the entire chain of construction. From providing design support to architects and designers and technological support to the concrete element industry, we are a part of the entire prefabrication concrete industry.

A designer designs his/her own pattern or selects one from GC Collection & sends the pattern to Graphic Concrete. Graphic Concrete prints the pattern onto a membrane and then sends the membrane to the concrete element manufacturer. The membrane is placed on the bottom of the mould & concrete is poured into the mould on top of the membrane. The membrane is removed from the surface of the element the next day & the surface of the element is washed with high-pressure cleaner. The element dries and waits to be transportedto the building site.
